Dr. Oluwafolake Esther Ojo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at Osun State University and Acting Head of the Department. Her research spans artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computer networks, peer-to-peer systems, multimedia security and the Internet of Things.

Research and leadership

Dr. Ojo has served as Acting Head of Information Technology at UNIOSUN since 2024. Before joining UNIOSUN, she taught at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, progressing from Assistant Lecturer to Senior Lecturer. Her current work combines intelligent systems, network security, distributed systems and data-driven models for agriculture and cyber resilience.

  • Co-Investigator: Digital Soil Mapping for Optimal Agricultural Yield and Sustainable Soil Biodiversity in Southwest Nigeria Using Artificial Intelligence, AGRIDI, 2022–2025.
  • Co-Investigator: Development of IoT-UAV Animal Feeder, Nigerian Communications Commission grant, 2022–2024.
